Social Geography Analysis

Social geography analysis is the study of human social groups and interactions in the operating environment in which our clients are located and conduct their business. In many regions, host communities might be hostile or harbour interests in the client’s operations that are not wholly compatible with the business goals. By understanding the social structures around the its operational footprint, a client company can better function in numerous areas including corporate communications, corporate community relations, sustainable community development and environmental responsibility.

By using intelligence based procedures, our consultants will support the client in developing a social map of the key stakeholders, their needs and desires, their interest in the client’s operations and their ability to influence the host community and thence the client’s ability to operate. This activity is closely linked to our Influence Operations Planning service.
